ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Teresa Gonzalez, affectionately known as TeGo, discovered her passion for jewelry when she moved to Taxco de Alarcón, Mexico—renowned as the silver capital. She began her artistic journey at just 15 years old, studying at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas at UNAM in Taxco. Her dedication to design led her to earn a degree in Industrial Design from the Instituto Tecnológico de Occidente in Guadalajara, followed by postgraduate studies in Jewelry Design at Le Arti Orafe Jewellery School Academy in Florence, Italy.
An entrepreneurial spirit combined with exceptional talent has allowed Teresa to push creative boundaries, crafting fashion-forward jewelry with innovative techniques. Her designs, including the striking Aqua Marina ring from her Caviar Collection, reflect a perfect blend of timeless elegance and nature’s beauty. Through her work, Teresa continues to redefine Taxco’s silver legacy, creating jewelry that is both a statement of artistry and a tribute to her cultural heritage.
